I’ve got some very exciting news to share with you.
Last week, a new online IELTS resource was launched: www.IELTSPodcast.com.
‘What is IELTSPodcast.com?’ you ask.
Well, IELTSPodcast.com is an online audio show run by Benjamin Worthington (a British IELTS and BEC Higher instructor operating in Valencia, Spain; try his online Academic Task 1 activity here). On his show, Ben interviews a number of IELTS examiners and instructors (including me) and asks them to share everything they know about the IELTS examination. This includes study tips, performance suggestions and dos and don’ts for all four sections of the exam. I guarantee you will find this content an invaluable addition to your repertoire of IELTS study resources.
Who’s been interviewed on the show?
Ben’s talked to IELTS professionals from www.myieltsteacher.com, www.gapfillers.co.uk, www.ipassielts.com, www.ieltstestonline.com, teachersodyssey.blogspot.com, www.effortlessenglish.com, www.ieltsonly.co.uk, www.myenglishexam.com and several others. Plus, he’s interviewed IELTS examiners themselves and asked them for inside tips. Subscribe to Ben’s podcast and mailing list and hear what his interviewees have to say about scoring well on the test!
Would you like a chance to talk to Ben and ask him what he has learned after speaking to all these IELTS gurus? Now you’ve got the chance!
Attending this meeting is completely free of charge. But to keep the evening organized, I’m asking all students to email me their questions for Ben ahead of time. Your questions can be about any IELTS related topic. (Asking questions is optional, though, so feel free to it quietly in the chatroom and watch if this is more your speed.)
Send your questions for Ben to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please try to get them to me before the weekend, as I will be forwarding them to Ben on Saturday.
Many students told me our last ielts-chat.com meeting was extremely useful to them. Don’t miss out this Sunday!
